Currently the word "team" deserves to be used jokingly. I'm working on my own.
I've got a few people I pester for help, and I've had a few offers for help, but I believe I've lost most of those email addresses.
If you are interested in helping out, and want to be part of the "team", drop me an email!
The most important library now required is SDL. More information about this
library can be found on their site.
I am currently using version 1.2.2.
The next library required, along a similar vein, is SDL_Image, which can be
found on their
site.

I am coding this on my Debian Linux/GNU box targetting SDL under XFree86 v4.1.x
using gcc 2.95.x as my compiler.
I intend the code to be ANSI-C++ and portable and everything. But I cannot
guarantee it, as I currently only have access to gcc.
Except that ANSI-C++ doesn't quite seem to support #define foo( bar... ) macros :(
Yes. the code has been ported to SDL. Hopefully I will release a snapshot of this someday soon. but for now it is in the CVS tree. Things that need attention now:
Pretty much everything.
